Reflection Sheet
1. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
The Travel Brochure is 2 standards. It is a standard for communication and culture.
2. What are the steps you took to compete and do well on this assignment?
I looked up necessary information from the web sources and typed them down in my own words. I added pictures. I printed them out and turned it in.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
This assignment demonstrates that I can make a brochure based on information I find on reliable sources. This also shows that I can find reliable sources for my work. Finally, this shows that I can find information on hotels, airline costs, restaurants, and attractions in a city.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could have improved my work on this assignment by adding more detail. I got lazy towards the end when I got to restaurants and simply put the link to the menu. I could have actually wrote down the menu to get more credit.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I can apply these skills on future vacations because I found really good information on 2 Mexican cities. I will also know where to go and where to eat thanks to this project.

Come to Mexico, a very exciting vacation for you and your family!

Looking for a place to go on vacation? Well you've found what your looking for! See why in the next few pages of this Brochure of Mexico.
Manzanillo: I know, very weird name. Well, despite its name this place is very fun to be at! Want to know why? Well, here's 4 out of many reasons why:
⦁ Manzanillo natives seem to really like golf! There are varieties of miniture golf courses. Each golfer faces a challenge of 72 holes in a golf course. This is a guarantee challenge for golfers of all skill levels!
⦁ Everyone loves to go to the beach! Why not go there for vacation? Manzanillo has a beach known as the Las Hadas Beach for anyone interested in cooling off during a hot day in Mexico.
⦁ Another place thing to do here in Manzanillo is to go fishing. Manzanillo has a lot of watery attractions and is next to the sea. Near Manzanillo is a large variety of fishes. An example of the multiple things you can catch would be a sailfish or a marlin. The fish on the bottom is a fish that was caught in Manzanillo that was so big that people considered it a sea monster.
⦁ The last and another watery fun thing to do is go snorkeling and diving. Go grab yourself some scuba gear and a flipper and go snorkeling/diving! Since there are multiple fishes to catch, there is a guarantee breathtakingly beautiful, fishful, view underwater!
Mexico is a city where the Spanish-speaking natives live. Mexico isn't the richest of countries but it is a very popular area to travel to. Mexico is located south of the US and is very big.In Mexico you will find:
Chihuahua: This is a city in Mexico. Not only are dogs named after this city but it's fun too! You can come here to see:
⦁ Puerta De Chihuahua is the monument that is the door to Chihuahua. If your taking a vacation here, this monument is probably the first attraction you'll find. It is a metal monument that features geometric shapes.
⦁ The next place you would like to visit would be a museum! Well, coincidentally, there is a art museum here in Chihuahua! This art museum is called Casa Redonda. Casa Redonda has several halls that feature variety of modern Mexican art.
⦁ The third place is the perfect place for religious people, Christians especially! This place is Chihuahua's Cathedral. It is built from pink quarry stone and there are 2 identical tall towers that are each 131 feet high. This is the perfect place to catch up on the religious things you might be missing out on!
⦁ The last place, and in my opinion the most exciting, is (believe it or not) is a cave! To be more exact, it is a salt mine called Nombre de Dios Caves. When it was discovered the explorers found themselves looking at millions of years worth of salt! The cave covers a distance of 5,300 feet!
