The Restaurant Project
Reflection Sheet
1. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
The standard on this project was being able to tell if an equation if linear. Also we needed to graph information, make a table, and compare data to decide which restaurant was a better deal. Finally, we needed to use our information to make 2 equations.
2. What are the steps you took to compete and do well on this assignment?
First, I had to decide how to make my project more presentable. I decide to make my project look like a table and put my information on food items. Next, I filled out my worksheet on a separate piece of paper and glued it onto my poster to show my work. I typed up my work in paragraphs and glued them onto food objects I made before hand.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
This assignment demonstrates many strengths. This assignment demonstrates that I can make my project look presentable, graph data and extract data, make graphs and show work while I'm at it. Also this demonstrates that I can type analysis based on information gathered and given.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I didn't realize that my project was suppose to be on a smaller poster board. I used a poster board I happened to have but then I realized after I turned it in that Ms. Orellana asked for a poster half the size of mine.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I can apply these skills in the math finals when I have to graph data given, make equations and compare them, and etc. Also I can use these skills to tell what deal is better, Western Sizzilin or Golden Coral.
