Japan had many forms of Buddhism and these forms were called sects. There were numerous sects that Japan created to suit their personal needs. An example of this is Zen Buddhism that told of the special thing inside each individual. The picture on the right is a Zen Buddhism Stone Garden. Tendai Buddhism was another form of Buddhism. The history of Tendai is in the picture on the bottom. Tendai is more about knowledge than other things.
