1. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
First of all, Ojos de Dios translates as the God's Eye. We made these as an introduction to the culture these people have. These God's Eye is a way to have fun while learning culture. We learned the cultural importance of these God's Eyes then made our own.
2. What are the steps you took to compete and do well on this assignment?
To make a God's Eye its simple. First you need 2 Popsicle sticks. Next line the 2 sticks up on the middle and glue them together. We then need a large piece of string. We use this string to wrap the Popsicle sticks in a loop and move to the next area formation.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
This assignment demonstrates 2 very important things. First it represents that I understand the cultural importance of Ojo De Dios. Next it explains that I know how to make a God's Eye.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could've improved by taking more time to make the Ojo de Dios. I took a minimum of maybe 5 to 10 minutes on each Eye and I only made 2. Then I just wandered and looked at others make it for the rest of the time.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I can apply these skills in the future because I understand another culture. With this new skill I can understand what another person is making when they're making a Ojo De Dios. Also, I know what to do next time I have 2 Popsicle sticks and string. I can make an Ojo De Dios!
