Reflection 1: Propaganda Poster
Reflection Sheet
1. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
This shows that I can be persuasive by using persuasion skills like by making a poster. This assignment was to draw anything that we may want to draw that will persuade us of a certain point that you wanted to persuade us about.
2. What are the steps you took to compete and do well on this assignment?
I came to class (like always) and then I got the propaganda poster paper. I got the poster and thought "What is a common conflict people have?" Then I thought of skittles and M&M. Then I decided I wanted to persuade people to pick skittles over M&M. So I drew my propaganda poster.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
This assignments show that I can be persuasive. Whether by debating or by drawing things like posters, I am confident in my persuading skills. Also it shows that I make a great advertiser someday.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could have taken more time. I didn't take as enough time because of my bad habit. I like to put my work off until the last day to do it and I end up cramming it into my schedule. I could have had taken more consideration to my grade but I didn't. So I got a 3.
5. How will yo apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will use this skill in English class. For Example, we had a debate last year and I won using my skills of persuasion. Also later on in life, if I own a business or if I become a doctor, I can persuade the "victim" to come to my business or hospital. Also I can be a great dentist but no one will believe it if I'm advertising myself, and I have weak persuasion.
