Reflection 3: Character POV
1. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
The standard #6 (in the standards page under English if you need to see them) is Point of Views. The assignment isn't a IWOC (Independent Work Out of Class) but an in-class activity. We glued in our POV in page 64 of our Interactive Student Notebooks during our Thanks Giving Break.
2. What are the steps you took to compete and do well on this assignment?
I cut out the POV. Then I glued the POV paper in during Thanks Giving Break. After that I can to class and wrote down the Objective of the Day that says, "SWBAT examine 4 POVs and distinguish between them AMB an ISN entry." Finally we discussed the POVs. Also we wrote down on the POV paper the definitions of the POVs.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
This assignment shows that I can name and define all POVs:
I could have improved in many ways. For 1, I should have glued it on page 64 but I glued it on page 66. For another instead of gluing it on the tip like post its I glued the whole paper on there. Lastly I could have put a picture of it on weebly.
5. How will yo apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will apply these skills to identify whose POV I am reading from when I read books and also on some tests given on English class.
